The past 2 weeks

For the past 2 weeks I've been quite occupied with extra co-curricular activities. All these outside the classroom activities are important to give teachers and students a breather. At least we get to chill, and release a bit of stress. Last week Suhaili, Kak Nani and I went for a course for Girl Guide's teachers. It was like reliving my schooling years as a Girl Guide then. It was quite fun actually, recalling how to do all the knots and what not. It was a time of laughter and fun.
Done with that, we resumed our work with Sports Day preparation. This year I was assigned to help 2 other teachers with Datuk Bahaman marching participants. Our theme for this year is nature ;) Here are some of our beautiful work!
P/S: We came in second this year. No worries, there's always next year.

Another one off the market!!!

It's Sab's engagement to her boyfriend, and now fiancé, Adham :) We were there to see her considering, thinking and finally choosing Adham. We were there to see the Coach handbag he gave her as a New Year's present - who does that, right? We saw how their love grew and finally now it's their E-day. Wedding InsyaAllah shall happen sometime in September. Jodoh, that's what it is. When it happens, it sweeps you off your feet, just like my colleague said, "Bila dah jodoh, nak sarung selipar pun tak sempat!" Huhu~ Plans suddenly change and you just have no time to digest everything. Breathe Aida, breathe...

Life happens

I am grateful for each passing day. Allah has blessed me with opportunities to learn from mistakes and make wiser decisions. I believe this is one of the many responsibilities as an adult. It goes to prove that everything happens for a reason. After all, as a humble servant we should submit to His plans for us. For now I pray to Allah to be given strength to go through any hurdles along this new journey I am embarking on and most importantly I pray for blessings from Him. I also hope to be protected from any form of evils, evils that could be done by others unto me and vice versa. Not to forget any form of evil or misbehaviour that I could do unto myself. Ameen...I am excited, but also try trying to be cautious, I am happy and extremely grateful. Alhamdulillah, Allah has finally answered my prayers, InsyaAllah everything will work out.
